The head of state made a trip to meet with defense personnel in the eastern front on the start of the week. The president confirmed that he met with warriors at the operational headquarters of the 1st Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine Azov, which is managing protective maneuvers in the Dobropillya area, a location approximately 20km from Pokrovsk.

Volatile Situation in the Area

Geospatial data from a Ukrainian project indicated that invading troops had pushed further into the city and surrounding areas, though a large portion was not fully held by either side. The status is precarious, with reports indicating that Russian forces were fortifying positions and strengthening posts in certain areas.

Invading troops are pushing forward in the Pokrovsk front and are reportedly acting with enhanced confidence within the city proper.

Research institutes noted that national troops had liberated a significant portion of a Russian penetration in the Dobropillya direction, on the east side of the Pokrovsk operation.

Ukrainian Drone Strikes Inside Russian Territory

National unmanned aircraft struck a factory approximately a considerable distance inside Russia at the city. City administration confirmed a blast at the Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant that led to the partial collapse to suffer damage, adding that the reason for the blast was undetermined. The armed forces leadership stated there was extensive harm to the plant.

National forces said it struck a fuel processing plant at the city in the federal district to the east of the capital. The extent of the damage was under evaluation. The local official acknowledged a strike by 20 drones near the refinery.

The Ukrainian president urged the US to remain open to providing Ukraine with far-reaching military equipment. The European nation plans to increase defense support to the eastern European country by €3bn next year to about €11.5bn, the economic authority in Berlin said on Tuesday.
