Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be shown live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" the American as the pair confronted each other to promote next month's heavyweight fight.
Former two time unified boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
Despite these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather criticized former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's greatest financial successes, consistently making substantial earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
